2. Etrian Mystery Dungeon
Far off in the mountains, the small village Aslarga becomes a hub for adventurers looking for fame and fortune from the Mystery Dungeons. But dire challenges await even the most stalwart adventurers in Etrian Mystery Dungeon, a turn-based action RPG rogue like developed by ATLUS and Spike Chunsoft. The Nintendo 3DS exclusive mixes Etrian Odyssey's vast RPG party and skill customization aspects, and Mystery Dungeon's infinitely random dungeon adventures. There's no hand-holding in Etrian Mystery Dungeon. The action/turn based combat means that battling monsters is not just about using the right skills, but becomes an elegant Pas de Quatre of strategic positioning. Players form their parties with familiar Etrian Odyssey classes, such as Landsknecht and Runemaster, customize individuals using Etrian-style skill trees, and then take up to four members into the dungeons. Always randomized with various levels and paths, the dungeons require plenty of exploration, not to mention the incredible loot rewards -- just be wary of what waits among the deepest depths
3. Code Name: S.T.E.A.M
The game is played as a turn-based strategy game, controlled in the style of a third person shooter, similar to the Valkyria Chronicles series.[7] The gameplay involves a team of characters controlled by the player known as the "Agents of S.T.E.A.M." facing off against an opposing team of alien invaders. Both teams take it in turns to maneuver and attack, with each level split across up to three self contained battle arena environments. For the player, both attacking and movement requires the use of "steam", a meter that depletes whenever a character moves around or uses their weapon, in the latter case depending on the type of weapon be used. By saving the same amount of steam required for the character's weapon to be used, certain characters can perform "overwatch attacks" during the opponent's turn, letting them attack enemies that wander into their sights with the potential to stun them for the rest of the turn. The opposing alien team however can also perform this strategy. Additionally, each character has a unique special ability that can be used once per level that doesn't cost steam. Before each battle, the player selects up to four characters, more becoming available as the story progresses. Each character has their own unique primary weapon that suit different play styles and strategies while a second sub-weapon can be switched across all characters before each level.

In addition, Nintendo changed the time mechanic of the original game, giving the player more time to explore, and added fishing.[5] Several Easter eggs are also hidden at different locations in-game (e.g. in shops and houses).
